వీసీల నియామకానికి గవర్నర్ తమిళిసై ఆమోదం

పది విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలకు వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ లను నియమించిన ప్రభుత్వం

హైదరాబాద్, (టీఎస్ డ్రీమ్స్ ప్రతినిధి): రాష్ట్రంలోని పది విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలకు వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ లను ప్రభుత్వం నియమించింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి కె చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు ఆదేశాల మేరకు ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన సెర్చ్ కమిటీలు, యుజిసి నిబంధనలకు అనుగుణంగా, రాష్ట్రం లోని యూనివర్సిటీ లకు వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ల నియామక ప్రక్రియను చేపట్టి పేర్లను సూచించింది.
కరోనా నేపథ్యంలో కొంత ఆలస్యం జరిగినా, నిబంధనల ప్రకారం అభ్యర్ధుల ఎంపిక కసరత్తు పూర్తి చేసి గవర్నర్ ఆమోదం కోసం చేసిన సిఫారసును శనివారం నాడు రాష్ట్ర గవర్నర్ వీసీల నియామకానికి ఆమోదం తెలిపారు.

ఉస్మానియా యూనివర్సిటీ, (హైదరబాద్) వీసీగా ప్రొ. డి. రవీందర్ యాదవ్ (బీసీ), కాకతీయ యూనివర్సిటీ (వరంగల్) వీసీగా ప్రో. టి.రమేష్ (బీసీ)., తెలంగాణ యూనివర్సిటీ, (నిజామాబాద్) వీసీగా ప్రో. డి. రవీందర్ (ఓసి)., డాక్టర్ బిఆర్ అంబేడ్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ (హైదరబాద్) వీసీ గా ప్రొ. సీతారామారావు (ఓసి)., పొట్టి శ్రీరాములు తెలుగు యూనివర్సిటీ(హైదరబాద్) వీసీగా ప్రొ. టి.కిషన్ రావు ( ఓసి), పాలమూరు యూనివర్సిటీ, (మహబూబ్ నగర్) వీసీగా ప్రొ. లక్ష్మీకాంత్ రాథోడ్( ఎస్టీ)., మహాత్మాగాంధీ యూనివర్సిటీ, (నల్గొండ ) వీసీగా ప్రో. సిహెచ్ గోపాల్ రెడ్డి, జవహర్ లాల్ నెహ్రూ టెక్నాలజికల్ యూనివర్సిటీ (హైదరబాద్) వీసీ గా ప్రొ. కట్టా నర్సింహా రెడ్డి (ఓసి), శాతవాహన యూనివర్సిటీ, (కరీంనగర్)వీసీగా ప్రో. మల్లేశం (ఎస్సీ)., జవహర్ లాల్ నెహ్రు ఆర్కిటెక్చర్ అండ్ ఫైన్ ఆర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ(హైదరాబాద్) వీసీగా, కవిత దర్యాని (ఓసి)లను గవర్నర్ ఆమోదం మేరకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నియమించింది.

The State government has appointed Vice Chancellors for ten universities in the State. The Search Committees constituted on the instructions of Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao, have undertaken the process in tune with the UGC Guidelines and recommended the names. Though there was some delay due to the Corona Pandemic, the names were finalised and sent to Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundarajan for her approval. On Saturday, the Governor gave her assent to the appointments.

Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (Hyderabad) VC: Prof Sitarama Rao (OC)

Potti Sriramulu Telugu University (Hyderabad) VC: Prof T Kishan Rao (OC)

Palamuru University (Mahboobnagar) VC: Prof Laxmikanth Rathode (ST)

Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda) VC Prof Ch. Gopal Reddy (OC)

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU Hyderabad) VC: Prof Katta Narsimha Reddy, (OC)

Satavahana university, Karimnagar VC- Prof Mallesham (SC Mala)

Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University VC Ms Kavita Daryani (OC)

These are appointed as VCs of the respective universities as per the approval given by the Governor.
